Dr. Shreya Iyengar is an orthodontist who brings over a decade of clinical experience across private practice, hospital-based dentistry, and multidisciplinary orthodontic care. She completed her orthodontic residency at Jacksonville University, preceded by a one-year clinical fellowship at the same institution — training in a highly clinical, mechanics-driven program with a strong focus on impacted canines, biomechanics, and contemporary orthodontic techniques. She has participated in the board certifications at the Royal College of Surgeons (Glasgow), the Indian Board of Orthodontics and the American Board of Orthodontics, reflecting her commitment to rigorous evidence based clinical standards.

Before moving to the United States, Dr. Iyengar served as an Associate Professor of Orthodontics in India, teaching both dental school and residency students while directing clinical training and supervising research. Her academic portfolio includes multiple national presentations, peer-reviewed publications, and ongoing research interests in airway analysis, impacted canine management, and orthodontic biomechanics.

Outside the clinic, she has been actively involved in community service, including COVID-19 volunteer work, women's health advocacy, and youth education initiatives. She is trained in classical Indian dance and has represented her state in national-level field hockey.

She brings to JR Dental a blend of clinical depth, an unwavering commitment to excellent care, combined with a warm, collaborative approach.
