Dr. Stephany Buitrago is a compassionate and dedicated dentist with more than six years of clinical experience and a lifelong passion for dentistry. Originally from Colombia, she earned her dental degree in 2014 and served as a dentist in the Colombian Army. She also volunteered with organizations providing dental care to underserved communities, experiences that strengthened her commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
After moving to the United States, Dr. Buitrago persevered through the challenges of rebuilding her career and earned a place in the Advanced Standing DMD Program at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She graduated with high honors in 2026 and received the Dr. Joseph P. Speranza Memorial Award for excellence in patient care, professionalism, and teamwork.
Her training includes restorative, cosmetic, prosthodontic, endodontic, pediatric, and implant dentistry, as well as digital dentistry. Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Buitrago is dedicated to creating a comfortable environment where patients feel heard, respected, and confident in their care.
Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, swimming, and sports. As a former member of Colombia’s National Swimming Team, she brings the same discipline, resilience, and determination to dentistry that she developed as a competitive athlete.
