Dr. Deason has over 40 years of experience and works in all areas of dentistry. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from Jacksonville University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Medical College of Virginia. After graduation, he served as an officer in the Navy Dental Corps and completed programs in advanced dental training at the prestigious Pankey Institute and the Dawson Center. He teaches TMJ/Occlusion to graduate dental students and works with the American Dental Association in the "SUCCESS" program teaching dental students management and clinical topics. Dr. Deason has also done a rotation in endodontics at Bethesda Naval Hospital, in Bethesda MD, and a rotation in endodontics at the Naval Training Center in Orlando, FL. He was also awarded the ADA's CERP certification (Continuing Education Recognition Program) for teaching continuing education programs to dentists across the nation. Dr. Deason is married, with two children, and enjoys golfing, and biking.
