Meet Dr. Obdulia Rondon
Born in Cuba, Dr. Rondon attended the School of Dentistry in Santiago De Cuba, Cuba. She came to the U.S. and validated her degree at Nova Southern University, College of Dentistry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, receiving her D.M.D. in 2003.
That same year, she relocated to Jacksonville, Florida. She began her career as an associate dentist in the practice that would become JR Dental. Since 2004, Dr Rondon has been providing quality, patient centered care at JR Dental.
Her emphasis on patient comfort as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry enable her to provide patients with the best quality of care in the field. She takes hours of continuing education courses each year to constantly better herself and the care she delivers to her patients. She continues to expand her dental expertise in the fields of dental implants, cosmetic and general dentistry having completed courses at Implant Seminars, Completion of CEREC/CADCAM Course , Advanced Dental Seminars, Platelet Rich Plasma, Laser Dentistry, and Cone Beam CT.
She is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), America Dental Implant Association (ADIA), Florida Dental Association (FDA) and North East District Dental Association (NEDDA).
Dr. Rondon enjoys giving back to the community that has given so much to her and her family. She has volunteered her time and effort to a variety of causes here in Jacksonville and local businesses such as Sulzbacher Center, Healing Hands Clinic, Project HERO,Give Kids a Smile, and the Special Olympics. As a parent of a child with autism, she also devotes her time to finding new ways to educate and incorporate children with special needs into society.
Dr. Rondon enjoys spending time with her family. Dr. Rondon is married to Alexis and they have 3 beautiful children. Baby girl Valentina joined 2 big brothers Alex and Eduardo, in April 2014.
